In a significant move marking its first-ever foreign venture, Anil Ambani‘s Reliance Group has partnered with Druk Holding and Investments (DHI), the commercial arm of Bhutan’s government, to jointly develop 1.2 GW of solar and hydropower projects in Bhutan. This partnership represents the largest foreign direct investment (FDI) in Bhutan’s renewable energy sector.

- 500 MW Solar Power: To be developed in Gelephu Mindfulness City, Bhutan, in two phases over the next two years, becoming Bhutan’s largest solar installation. 🌞
