πŸ—£οΈ “Disgraceful”: Amit Shah Responds to Mallikarjun Kharge’s Remarks

In a recent heated exchange, Union Home Minister Amit Shah has labeled Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge’s comments as “distasteful and disgraceful.” This response comes after Kharge, while addressing a rally in Jammu and Kashmir, stated he would “stay alive till Prime Minister Narendra Modi is removed from power.”

During the rally, Kharge, who fainted briefly before resuming his speech, emphasized his determination by saying, β€œI am 83 years old. I am not going to die so early.” His statement, however, drew sharp criticism from Shah, who interpreted it as an unnecessary personal attack on PM Modi.

Shah took to X (formerly Twitter) to express his outrage:

“Yesterday, the Congress President Shri Mallikarjun Kharge Ji has outperformed himself… in being absolutely distasteful and disgraceful in his speech. It just shows how much hate and fear these Congress people have of PM Modi.”

Following Kharge’s health scare, his son Priyank Kharge, a Karnataka minister, provided an update, reassuring the public that his father was recovering from low blood pressure. He expressed gratitude for the concern shown by the public and mentioned that Kharge’s resolve, bolstered by the people’s goodwill, keeps him strong.

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman echoed Amit Shah’s sentiments, emphasizing the consistent display of animosity from the Congress party towards PM Modi. She joined in wishing for Kharge’s long life, expressing hope that he will witness a “Viksit Bharat” (Developed India) by 2047.

This exchange highlights the ongoing tensions in Indian politics, particularly between the ruling party and the opposition. The incident not only raises questions about political rhetoric but also underscores the health and well-being of political leaders in the midst of heated electoral campaigns.
