Hardik Pandya Shines, But RP Singh Says “Hold Up” – Bangladesh Not the Real Test

Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya was 🔥 in the first T20I against Bangladesh, smashing an unbeaten 39 off 16 balls and snagging 1/26 with the ball. His performance had fans hyped, but former Indian pacer RP Singh served a cold reality check: don’t get too excited just yet. 😬

In Gwalior, Hardik’s all-rounder game was on full display, and he helped India cruise to victory. While fans were all praise for Pandya, RP Singh dropped a cautionary take on Jio Cinema. According to him, Bangladesh’s current level of play isn’t enough to truly measure Hardik’s form.

Bangladesh team ko leke kisi ka true form judge karna, mujhe lagta hai itna sahi soch nahi hai.
Translation: “Judging anyone’s form based on a performance against Bangladesh might not be the right call,” RP said.

RP Singh isn’t denying Hardik’s talent; he just thinks we shouldn’t jump to conclusions. Sure, Pandya’s been doing great—both with bat and ball—but let’s see how he stacks up against tougher competition.

Do that maybe against a better team or in a better competition.

The upside? RP did acknowledge that Pandya bowling his full quota of four overs is a huge win for Team India, especially given the past concerns about his fitness and workload. 💪

While the win against Bangladesh was solid, it’s clear the real tests are still ahead. For now, let’s celebrate Hardik’s killer performance, but keep our eyes peeled for how he handles tougher teams.
