Delhi’s pollution drama just got spicier as Lieutenant Governor Vinai Kumar Saxena took to X (formerly Twitter) and dropped some serious shade on the AAP government about the toxic froth surfacing in the Yamuna River! π¬
π What Went Down:
- LG Saxena posted pictures of the frothy, polluted Yamuna and didn’t hold back: “Who is responsible for this? Instead of making excuses on social media, how about some real action for the people of Delhi?β π₯
- This post came right after his Monday jab, where he asked, “Who promised to clean the Yamuna and take a dip?” π
π― AAPβs Response:
- AAP, led by Atishi, fired back, claiming these photos were from 2015, accusing the BJP of “desperate tactics.” π§ββοΈ
- Atishi shifted the blame to Haryana’s parali (stubble burning), diesel buses, and brick kilns for Delhi’s air pollution, especially around Anand Vihar (a pollution hotspot). ππ«οΈ
π₯ BJP vs AAP:
- Haryanaβs CM, Nayab Singh Saini, clapped back, saying AAP loves pointing fingers and never owning up to their mess. He even mentioned that the BOD (Biochemical Oxygen Demand) of the water supplied by Haryana is almost zero and blamed the 28 dirty drains in Delhi dumping into the Yamuna. π
β‘ The Pollution War Continuesβ¦
- With Delhi‘s air quality sinking and the Yamuna frothing up just in time for Chhath Puja, the pollution blame game is in full swing. Both sides are trading accusations, but will anyone actually step up to fix it? π¬οΈπ
